The Coach Development day is the second of these held at United Services RFC to assist coaches in their development prior to the season commencing re-affirming some of the key areas within the game to date. It is common knowledge that good coaching practice aids in the  following: 

*   retention of players 
*   recruitment of players  
*   development of players at all levels 
*   CPD  plays an important part in the development of a  coach

 
The formal CPD Coaching children in rugby union is being run for all coaches within United Services and the cluster group and will be accredited with the attendance once completed and will count towards the RFU Coach licensing  scheme for those that currently hold a licence.  The Shaping the Game workshop is designed/delivered for United Services RFC coaches and is aimed 
primarily at  those that are operating under the HRFU Pilot however open to all age grade  coaches.
