About us
United Services Juniors is one of the fastest growing and most successful junior sections in the local area.
We are going to run both websites side by side till the start of the season to decide which is best.
In case you were wondering why you are seeing our junior teams appearing on the senior website. It has been decided that we should trial run both websites (at no cost) to see which suits the need of the club best.
The stand alone junior site looks good and many people have put in a great deal of hard work to get it up and running. That said there is a desire for us to more fully merge with the senior side of the club and one website would be a step forward.
So the plan is this.............We will trial run the Junior and Mini teams on the senior site until September when we will decide which fits our needs. We will fully maintain the stand alone Junior site.
To give the Pitchero site a fighting chance could I ask some of the team managers/coaches to spruce up their team pages and get back to me with comments on either both from themselves and their parents.
Remember you children have now moved up an age group. U10s last year are now U11s.

Annual General Meeting
US Portsmouth Junior RFC will hold their AGM on Friday 11th May at the United Services RFC clubhouse. Proceedings will start at 1900 and will include election of officials, committee member reports and volunteer of the year award. Everyone involved in the club, whether parents, coaches, managers or officials are welcome and encouraged to attend. A cash bar will be available and some simple fare provided.
It's your club, come along and tell us how you would like it run.

U7s - U10s Barbeque
Hi All,
Just a reminder that our barbeque on Saturday is from 12 noon at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on the Coney Acres Site. £1 donation from all who attend on the day towards the cost of hiring the site...
Please bring some food to barbeque and chairs, drinks, rugs, bats and balls etc!!

Waterbottles
Thanks to all team managers for letting me know their requirements. Because of the numbers ordered (100), I was able to get the waterbottles at a discounted price of £2.65 ea. They should arrive for next Friday's AGM and I would be grateful if those age groups (you know who you are) could let me have the appropriate remittance on the night.
